Friday February 20th

Gleason Girls Win District 15-A Title

SOUTH FULTON - Meagan Price scored 14 points to lead Gleason to a 44-34 victory against South Fulton in the District 15-A title game on Friday.

Gleason used a 14-5 third quarter to erase a one-point, halftime deficit.

Brooke Harris led South Fulton with 11 points.

Gleason (44) - Suddath 9, Miller 2, Meagan Price 14, Wiseman 5, Hudson 8, Auvenshine 6.

3-pointers: SF-Harris 2, Alexander 2; G-Wiseman, Husdon.

Up next: Gleason plays Middle College at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the Region 8-A tournament at Trenton. South Fulton plays Bradford at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Region 8-A tournament at Trenton.
